Atheists for Liberty is proud to announce that Angel Garcia, a longtime atheist activist, has joined our continuously growing staff as Events Manager.

Angel is passionate about defending liberal values from illiberal Critical Social Justice. He has also been involved in secular activism since 2013. While at Arizona State University, he led a Secular Student Alliance (SSA) chapter, which provided a community for secular students and engaged in community service and secular activism.

“It would be an understatement to say that I’m immensely proud to have Angel Garcia on the team at Atheists for Liberty. Like myself, Angel saw wokeness on the atheist movement’s doorstep that quickly obliterated the reactionary counterculture that atheism was, especially on the student level. Being active on the conference scene, Angel is a great fit to help organize our appearances at conventions across the country and grow our events on the web. Now Angel isn’t only a good friend, but now also a hard-working colleague.”
