Half of Americans say a definite yes…
About half of Americans are sure that God exists, according to a recent survey. However, the number of people who have no doubt about God’s existence has decreased from over 60 percent in 2008 to less than 50 percent in 2022. The survey also revealed that 34 percent of Americans never go to church, which is the highest percentage in five decades. Additionally, a separate report indicates a decline in the Christian population, particularly among white Americans, while the population of nondenominational Protestants has been rising steadily.
