Lauren Boebert, a Republican congresswoman from Colorado, has filed for divorce from her husband of 15 years.
Lauren Boebert and her husband have been married for 15 years and have four children together.
Lauren Boebert is a conservative Christian who has spoken out against divorce in the past. In 2022, she told an audience at a Christian event that “if you start chasing Jesus, with everything that you have, I promise you that your husband will chase you, chasing Jesus.”
Boebert’s divorce is the latest in a string of high-profile divorces among MAGA lawmakers. In December 2021, then-congressman Madison Cawthorn announced he and his wife were splitting up after less than a year of marriage. And in December 2022, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene finalized her divorce from her husband.
Some people are questioning Boebert’s commitment to her conservative values in light of her divorce. However, Boebert has not commented on the matter.
